Dennis Spencer Chief Executive Officer

Dennis was born in Arlington, Texas.  He enlisted in the US Air Force in 1992 as a Communications and Computer Systems Operator.  He began Physician Assistant training in 1997 and received his Commission in 1999 as a Physician Assistant and served in this role until retirement in 2012.  During his military service, Dennis served at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, Altus Air Force Base in Oklahoma, Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, and arrived at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska in 2003.  He served several tours of duty supporting Operations Deny Flight and Enduring Freedom including tours with the 10th Mountain Division in Jalalabad, Afghanistan and with the Expeditionary Red Horse Engineering Unit in Kandahar, Afghanistan. 

After retirement, Dennis remained in Alaska and worked in the Natural Resource Development arena with a medical focus on Occupational medicine and medical program development.  He began work with Capstone Clinics in 2015 as a staff PA in Urgent Care and assisted in development of the Occupational Medicine program for Capstone.  He took a brief role with an Oil producer on the North Slope, developing the foundation of their Medical Program and returned to Capstone in 2019.

Dennis lives in Chugiak with his wife of 30 years, Stephanie.  They have three adult children, Abbie, Evan, and Connor as well as their dogs, Tucker and Louie.
